mia and I had a trip to Bridgewood yesterday, and the weather was glorious.
Most of the day I worked on removing stumps from the North Ride with the chainsaw (while mia worked on her tan in the Glade
) Later on I moved Eric's Gate to a small, dedicated clearing and lashed it to a suitable tree.
Despite it being a "work day", we did do some BDSM, and also had time just looking up at the sky in the late afternoon sun. There was a buzzard flying in long lazy circles high up, before finally swooping down to something it spotted. Until mia pointed it out, I hadn't noticed there were no vapour trails from jets in the sky, due to the flying ban from the Icelandic volcano ash. Somehow the countryside feels quieter without them, even though they're hardly noticeable normally anyway.
