The FAQ list answers the most common questions
about the wood.
We'd been planning October's event day on Saturday as end of season special for a couple of months now. Given the usual October weather, we tried to think of activities good for keeping warm
This week's heatwave made all that a bit academic, but we had a great time. [more...]
Last month @mia and I went to the GLLA ("Great Lakes Leather Alliance") weekend in Indianapolis after our week in New York. GLLA is one of several regional leather conventions across that have M/s contests, and I blogged about this part last time. Now I'm going to write a bit about the workshops. [more...]
Last month I installed a wood burning stove in the Log Cabin at Bridgewood, and mia used it for cooking and making tea at September's event day. I also put a shelf in for bags, with a small bookcase on the wall above it near the noticeboard. Yesterday, I finished the "utility" corner of the cabin by fitting a kitchen sink. [more...]
I've started a thread on IC about this afternoon peer workshop in Birmingham for BDSM activities that normally need outdoor space. When Bridgewood closes for the winter, this is a chance to carry on doing things indoors ![]()
Earlier this month I installed this wood-burning stove in the Log Cabin at Bridgewood. It will help now we're getting later in the open air season, especially to heat the cabin in the evening, and this weekend mia boiled a kettle for tea, and then later on cooked a lovely risotto on it! [more...]
This month's event day turned out well despite the forecast. We managed to dodge the rain during Saturday daytime, so we only had it overnight on Friday and Sunday morning. I've blogged already about the new suspension frame and whipping post, and we had several net suspensions happening during the weekend. The Holding Pen was also back in service now the fallen branch is cleared away. [more...]
mia and I spent the weekend at Bridgewood, preparing for the August event day next weekend. I mowed the grassed rides and mia pulled the weeds out of the edge of the Holding Pen which is back in action after a big fallen branch stopped us using it. Then we tested a couple of new pieces of equipment I've made for the Glade. [more...]
We had another great event day at Bridgewood yesterday. We had solidly good weather for both days of the weekend, and the usual mixture of socialising and people going off to play in the woods. One of the best things about these days is the way everyone contributes to the atmosphere (and often to the food spread across the tables!) This month people were using the space in the Glade to show off everything from devil sticks and firebreathing to single-tails and rope work. [more...]
Last week I posted about the Arch Bench I've been building for Bridgewood and today (Sunday), I installed it as you can see in the picture. [more...]
I've been thinking more about pony play again recently and reading some of the great blogs that are out there. I'm going to share a few links in this post, and I'd be grateful for any more that you know of. [more...]
