Open Air BDSM venues

The following venues all have some aspects of land devoted to outdoor BDSM.

Bridgewood in Shropshire

A 20 acre woodland in North Shropshire between Manchester and Birmingham. It has a mixture of tall trees and dense undergrowth, and is being managed for conservation and wildlife. In BDSM terms, it provides a private, open air space where BDSM is accepted and where the rules and social conventions recognise D/s.

DV8 in Kent

Just off the M2 south east of London, DV8 is an adult venue with a club house set in 52 acres of woodland and pasture. It is also home to the North Downs Pony Club.

BDSM Hoeve

The BDSM Hoeve ("Farm") is on the Dutch-Belgian border near Antwerp. Set in several acres including some woodland, converted farm buildings are used for BDSM film shoots, and for play events and workshops run by VVSM Village.

Residenz Avalon

Residenz Avalon is a water-front property on the Havel in Berlin - a former Prussian gun factory. It has a small amount of out door land, and extensive underground vaults and warehouse-like spaces.

In eastern Wisconsin, US, a 5 acre wooden site with regular events between May and November. Can be hired by couples or larger groups, and has facilities for camping.

Wingnut Stables

Wingnut Stables is a BDSM play facility located in North Carolina. The 17-acre site is in a secluded location that offers clothing-optional indoor and outdoor play. In addition to the indoor and outdoor play areas, Wingnut also has a large deck with a medium size above-ground swimming pool. In 2011 they added a purpose-built barn, with pony stables on the ground floor and play spaces upstairs.

Aussie Slave Farm

In rural New South Wales, Australia, southwest of Sydney, the slave farm consists of a secluded rural property approximately 180 acres in size, set amidst rolling hills, at the head of a valley. The location is hilly and consists mostly of moderately forested bushland, with the exception of several large open fields and hillsides. Facilities include a cabin about the size of a shipping container, a concrete cellblock, and various places for restraint and confinement around the site.

Mistress160 and solipsist's BDSM Retreat in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, Australia. While their 20 acre retreat is not yet formally open, Ms160 and sol welcome visits from people they know well.

The Other World Kingdom

OWK is an unrecognised micronation in the Czech Republic, ruled by Queen Patricia I, located in the buildings of a 16th century chateau on about 7 acres of land. It is constituted as a slave-holding matriarchal monarchy, where female dominants and male submissives may join as various classes of citizens and subjects. Slave Stables

Located just outside Bristol in the UK and comprises a large plot of secluded, private land with an old barn. As of 2008, they are working on clearing up the site and establishing dungeon areas and cells. As well as the website, they have a Yahoo Group and a web forum.

BDSM Camp

The camp is located in an isolated area of Spain, one hour from Madrid. It is on 7.5 acres of land (all of which is available for BDSM practices) which ensures the privacy of visitors. There is also a swimming pool, a sports field, approximately 450 square metres dedicated to outdoor BDSM equipment and two covered zones that have been set-up for suspensions.

Adult Outdoor Pursuits

The group had the use of an upland pasture for pony play, and are currently working on improving the site. The organisers can still be contacted as AdultOutdoorPursuits on IC.
